After being chased up an endless staircase by something, I couldn’t see I reached the top and collapsed. When I woke up from asleep I opened a door right in front of me only to find a bell tower, so I went inside the bell tower, and saw beautiful, towering windows all the way around, when I looked outside, I saw a city in rubble and people rising out of the rubble and walking to the church. They laid their hands on the side of the church and started to rock the church back-and-forth. I was in the Bell tower and the Bell Tower begin to rock as well , then it seemed like the bell tower was going to break off and I was going to fall at that point. I woke up.
This dream appears to symbolize feelings of being pursued or chased in your waking life. The endless staircase represents the continuous pursuit, while the inability to see what is chasing you suggests a sense of fear or uncertainty.
Reaching the top of the staircase and collapsing could represent reaching a breaking point or feeling overwhelmed by these pressures. This could be an indication of stress or pressure in your life that has become too much to handle.
Opening a door and finding a bell tower may symbolize seeking refuge or sanctuary from these overwhelming feelings. The bell tower with its beautiful windows and the city in rubble outside may represent a contrast between finding peace and beauty within yourself, while witnessing chaos and destruction in the outside world.
The people rising from the rubble and walking to the church could signify resilience and hope in the face of adversity. However, the act of rocking the church and the bell tower suggests a potential disturbance or instability. This could reflect a fear of losing control or a fear of the consequences that may arise from the pursuit of finding peace and stability in your life.
Overall, this dream suggests a struggle with external pressures and a desire to find solace amidst chaos. It may be important to examine areas in your waking life where you feel chased or overwhelmed and explore ways to find balance and stability. Consider seeking support or taking time for self-care to address these underlying stressors.
